And....they are off!

My Mom and Dad were set apart today as Missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They are an amazing example to me, my siblings and of course all their grand kids.

After being set apart both of my parents took a few minutes to share their testimony with us. I know they love the Lord and will be a great influence for good while in Finland. In my Dad's testimony, he testified that Jesus Christ is the head of the church and that the prophet acts under Christ's direction He encouraged us to keep the commandments and told us we would be blessed. My Mom talked about how much she loves her children, their spouses and her grandchildren. She also spoke of how proud she is to be able to have such a wonderful family.

Mom and Dad, thanks for being a great example to us all. We love you!
